Donations to American Red Cross Hurricane Relief

For all new projects, we will donate 15% of the total project cost to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.

This tragedy has hit many of us hard, and not only those in the Gulf states or with relatives there. I personally have a close friend who lives an hour north of New Orleans, who fortunately was affected very little by the storm when you consider the consequences for so many others. Watching the events unfold day after day, the continuing struggles and heartbreak, and knowing that the recuperation and challenges that will be faced will take many months and even years, I simply had to contribute in some way.

The feeling of helplessness is unbearable. Night after night we would watch the stories on TV with tears as families were ripped apart, children orphaned, entire lives washed away. Instead of seeing a gradual improvement, it seems to escalate in this first week and the horrors are unimaginable. The thought of losing my parents, or God forbid, my only daughter...I cannot imagine. My heart breaks.

This is a small part to play, but it is one that I can do and I know that every little bit helps. Please join us in helping to help those who so desperately need us.
